brittney redler

singer, actor, teacher, researcher, mother

I have had the pleasure of teaching vocal and general music from kindergarten to graduate school and adulthood. Singing is a gift given to all; it can help us connect, express, center, and reflect. Vocalizing can also be used as a mindful tool to settle our bodies and nervous systems, allowing for more balance and regulation.

I enjoy teaching singers in all styles and at any level or experience. I believe voice science can be used as a tool for actively dismantling any preconceived hierarchies of music and singing technique that have determined one style over another to hold a certain objective "beauty."

redler family music

we started writing children's songs - which started as family fun time during quarantine -

and are making them a "thing."

we hope you enjoy what we've posted so far - more to come...

our first release was the super fancy

(read: utterly campy and silly)

music video for "Swimming in the Ocean!"

we wrote this one because our toddler's class

was studying sea animals, so naturally we took

the BAIT and wrote a song for them

to dance to!

the second song was "Like a Dinosaur"

for which we compiled friends' toys

and had a blast acting out.

our most recent song was created for the

holiday season when our kids wanted to write

a song all together - a true FAMILY collab!

and for fun we explored some stop-motion.

just give me a second:
a spousal podcast

brittney & zach redler discuss issues large and small that come up in their lives as musicians, educators, vegans, long-distance runners, overachievers, sufferers of depression and anxiety, and, most importantly (and most challengingly), parents just trying to live with less suffering and more joy in this life.

guests include old and new friends offering myriad perspectives and experiences with the hope that through connection and discussion, we can create a little more joy, laughter, and love in this world.
